Hello Everyone!! Here is what is coming up in the next couple of weeks in first grade and also at Maples!
Upcoming Events:
October 10- Walk/Bike to School Day
October 12- Half day for students. Pick up is at 11:45
October 17- Late start. Students start at 9:30
Spelling for this week: we are working on the “ar” pattern this week.
Words: are, art, far, star, start, bark
Sight words: into, want, too
Please make sure your child is reading every night for at least 15 minutes each night. They should be bringing home their reading bag with books in it each night.
