Parent/Teacher conferences are starting next week.  They are on Thursday, Nov. 9th, Wednesday, Nov. 15th, and Thursday, Nov. 16th. If you have not signed up for a conference time, please check the schedules I’ve attached and let me know what is a good time to meet.  Thank you and I look forward to talking to you about your child’s progress.

Happy Halloween! Students are allowed to wear their Halloween costumes to school on Tuesday. Oct. 31st! Masks and weapons are NOT ALLOWED. We will be having cider and donuts and we will watch a Halloween cartoon! We do not need parent volunteers in the classroom. If you would like to send candy in, please make sure it is wrapped to go home. Thank you!

Thursday, Oct. 26 from 6 to 7:30pm, Snow School PTA is having a Halloween party! There will be a bake sale in the cafeteria with pizza and baked goods (please leave any donations on the cart outside the office during the day Thursday). There will be music, games, prizes and a costume contest in the gym. The costume contest is $1 to enter and children will receive a wristband to participate. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Come out for an evening of Halloween fun! And don’t forget the Book Fair will be open during the party for anyone who would like to purchase books.

Our class will be visiting the Book Fair in the library on Tuesday, Oct. 24th from 3 to 3:30.  Flyers and money bags are being sent home today.  If your child want’s to buy books, please send money to school tomorrow so they can shop.  The book fair is open from Mon. to Thurs. until 4 p.m and Family Halloween Night is Thursday, Oct. 26 fro 6 to 7:30.

Lincoln Park Skating Center-1419 Southfield Road in Lincoln Park.
