Students will begin Winter NWEA testing tomorrow. Please make sure your child gets adequate rest and a good breakfast so they can do their best. We will test Tuesday through Friday, 1/7 to 1/31, with Mondays as needed.
Also, we are running low on headphones and the school is not replacing them. If you have extra headphones at home that your child can keep at school to use this year, please send them in. We currently do not have enough for every student which means for assignments which require headphones, we have to work in shifts, which is not ideal.
Students will be accepting more accountability for their work on iReady. When they complete a lesson at school, they are required to bring their computer to me to show me their score. We celebrate all scores 80% and above! If a student scores below 75%, they will have to redo the lesson so we problem solve to clear up misconceptions and create action plans help to improve their score. Students will keep this record of scores in their planner so parents can see how they are doing daily!
