Welcome to the 9th Grade Study Skills course! The Study Skills course is designed to assist the freshman ACE students in learning, understanding, and reinforcing concepts and/or assignments presented in the core classes of Language Arts, World History, Algebra 1 and Biology. You will have the opportunity to develop and strengthen good study habits and learning strategies through various instructional methods. As your Study Skills and ACE teacher, I will collaborate with your core subject teachers on an on-going basis to develop study strategies and design lessons to best meet the academic requirements of your core classes and support your individual growth in every class. I will also act as a mentor teacher and guide as you navigate your way through your Freshman year here at Edsel Ford High School.
