Shareef was chosen as student of the month for his hard work and motivation. Shareef shared his goals with the class in the beginning of the year. “I don’t come to school to play. I come to learn.” He works daily to meet his academic goals. He is also a safety and participates in Chorus Stars. He is also a great role model for his peers.

Julie (Jolee) Hamam is our December student of the month. Julie was chosen because she is always respectful. It doesn’t matter if you are a classmate or an adult. Julie is always on her best behavior and a positive role model. Julie is a leader. She demonstrates integrity on a daily basis and is not persuaded to follow her peers.  She works hard on her academic goals. She knows what she needs to do and works on it daily.

November Student of the Month 

Lithika Sambangi has been chosen as the student of the Month for November. Lithika has taken ownership of her education by becoming familiar with her academic goals and working outside of school to achieve those goals. She works hard in class and never wastes time. She comes to school to learn and it shows.  Lithika is respectful to her peers and adults.

Madison Howell is the student of the Month for October. She is very creative. She loves to write and illustrate. She is very current on the latest software and loves learning about new technology. She is a leader and is not afraid to stand alone. 

Jana Jawad is our first student of the Month. She was chosen for her hardwork and dedication. Although Jana is new to the country, she is making great progress towards her reading goals. She is self motivated and always asking for extra work. Jana sets an example for her classmates by following directions the first time.
