This week, we are introducing a new theme topic of the teenage brain. This week’s materials will include the text of Romeo and Juliet Act 5 and a video of the scene. Please try to review the material prior to your class session. There will be a CommonLit.org article, “Teenage Brains are Malleable and Vulnerable” focusing on adolescence – this assignment will be recorded in the grade book as INDEPENDENT PRACTICE. You will also be required to respond to a Participation/Discussion Question related to the topic theme; you may engage your classmates in dialogue by posting/responding to their answers to the question.
During this week’s class session we will be discussing Act 5 (we will be finisihing our discussion of the play).
