This week, we are introducing a new theme topic of the teenage brain. This week’s materials will include the text of Romeo and Juliet Act 5 and a video of the scene. Please try to review the material prior to your class session. There will be a CommonLit.org article, “Teenage Brains are Malleable and Vulnerable” focusing on adolescence – this assignment will be recorded in the grade book as INDEPENDENT PRACTICE. You will also be required to respond to a Participation/Discussion Question related to the topic theme; you may engage your classmates in dialogue by posting/responding to their answers to the question.

During this week’s class session we will be discussing Act 5 (we will be finisihing our discussion of the play).

****If you fell behind and are attempting to turn in late/missing work, please send an email letting me know what you have completed and if you need an assignment unlocked. It is not enough to submit in Google Classroom, iXL, or CommonLit alone; these platforms do not let us know that you have completed the work. You must send an email to get credit.****
