Last week we learned a new letter “Jj” and introduced a new number “4”. We had “Papa Doug”(Harper’s grandpa) read us “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”
This week we will learn a new letter “Kk” and continued with the number “4”. We will also talk about different holidays and celebrations around the world.
When it is snowy or wet outside, please have your child change their shoes before coming into the classroom. They can leave a pair of slippers here at school and wear them during the day.
On Thursday, December 22nd, we will have a book exchange. If you want your child to participate, please purchase a book for no more than $5.00 that a boy or a girl would like to receive. Wrap it and put a tag on it that reads To: My friend, From: (Your child’s name). Your child will go home with a book only if they bring in a book. It will also be wear your ugly sweater, if you have one and we will have a special snack.
On Friday December 23rd, we will have a pajama, cookie decorating party with a festive movie. The children can wear their pajamas to school, please bring other shoes or boots if your child wears slippers. There will be a sign-up sheet on the clipboard.
There will be no school December 26th thru January 6th for the holiday break.
