Last week we learned a new letter “Uu” and continued with the number “7”. We also talked wacky weather.

This week we will learn a new letter “Vv” and continue with the number “7”.  We will also talk about dinosaurs.

March is Reading month so the children will be able to bring in their favorite book to share with the class.  Please put your child’s name in their book.  The children will bring their book home the same day they share it.

Missing Juvenile

 

Dearborn, MI. — On March 18, 2017, a Dearborn resident reported that her 14 year old son (Lukas Brown) did not return home after school. Lukas is described as a white male, 5’3” inches tall, he weighs approximately 130 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.  It is unknown what Lukas was last wearing.  Lukas has messaged friends, through social media, but he has not disclosed his location. Lukas has runaway in the past, but he has never been gone for this long without contacting his family.  The Dearborn Police Department is asking if anyone has any information on his whereabouts; please contact our department at (313) 943-2241.

Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad stated, “Lukas’ safety is our number one priority and it is important that we reunite him with his family.”

Summer Adventure Club/Camp:  Minimum age is 2 years 9 months and toilet learned to 12 yrs.

The Summer Adventure Club/Camp Program will include: science activities, music,

life skills, arts & crafts, dance, team building, weekly field trips, and daily swimming.

Registration fee $35.00 for the 1st child and $15.00 for each additional child.

Preschool, School Age, and Middle School:  $185.00 Weekly less than 9 hours *(includes field trip admissions)

$200.00 Weekly more than 9 hours *(includes field trip admissions)

 

Daily Rates available

A minimum attendance of 3 days per week for at least 4 weeks is required (12 days). Daily rates will be   charged at $40.00 for 9 hours or less, and $43.00 for over 9 hours. Sibling discounts of 10% are given for each additional child. All paperwork is due 48 hours before first day of attendance.

 

Note:  Each child attending a field trip will be assessed a bus/fuel surcharge of $6.00 to $8.00 per field trip.

Week of March 6 – 10 Once Upon A Time

Dear Parents,

Last week we learned a new letter “Rr” and a new number “7”.  We make masks for Mardi Gras and a red rooster for Chinese new year.  We also made the Cat in the Hat’s hat for Dr., Seuss’ birthday.

This week we will learn a new letter “Ss” and continue with the number “7”.  We will also have fun exploring the world of make believe.

March is Reading month so the children will be able to bring in their favorite book to share with the class.  Please put your child’s name in their book.  The children will bring their book home the same day they share it.

February 13 – 17 Hearts and Presidents

Last week we learned a new letter “Pp” and reviewed the number “6”.  We also talked about our healthy bodies.  Look in the hallway at our bodies.  We worked together to keep our bodies, muscles, bones and veins healthy.

This week we will learn a new letter “Qq” and continue practicing the number “6”. We will make some heart activities, have our valentine’s party on Tuesday and also talk about Washington and Lincoln.

There will be no School for winter break the week of February 20 – 24.
