Week of December 18 – 22 Wrap It Up

Dear Parents,

Last week we learned the letter “Kk”, number 4 and the color red.  We also talked about celebrations.

This week we will learn a new letter “Ll”, continue with the number 4 and color red.  We will also make a gift and holiday card for someone special.

Our holiday party will be on Friday.  We will have a book exchange, pajama day and decorate some cookies.

BOOK EXCHANGE  The book should be a book that both boys and girls would like to receive.  No more than $5.00.  Please wrap the book and put on the tag:  To:  My friend From:  (Your child’s name).  If your child does not bring a book, they will not come home with a book.

PAJAMA DAY  Your child can wear their pajamas to school on Friday.  If your child would like to wear their slippers, please have them bring shoes if we go outside.

Thank you to all of you that have signed up to bring in something for our party.

There will no school for two weeks, Saturday, December 21st to Sunday, January 7th.  We will see everyone back the week of Monday, January 8th.

Week of December 11 – 15 Celebration continued

Last week we learned a new letter “Jj”, the number 4 and the color red.  We also talked about celebrations.

This week we will talk about the letter “Kk”, number 4 and the color red.  We will also talk about more celebrations.

Our holiday party will be on Friday, December 22nd.  We will have a book exchange, pajama day and decorate graham crackers.

This week we will learn a new letter “Jj”, the number 4 and the color red.  We will also start decorating our classroom and talk about holiday celebrations.

The tree that is being sent home is your December homework.  Please decorate it as a family with whatever you have at home.  And return the tree back to school so your child can talk about it.

Week of Nov 27 – Dec 1 5 Senses of Christmas

Dear Parents,

Welcome back from break.  I hope everyone’s holiday was well rested.

This week we will learn a new letter “Ii” and continue with the number 3 and color brown.  We are also talking about our senses.

Thank you to everyone that brought in the yummy food for our preschool feast.

When the weather is muddy or snowy, please have your child bring in a pair of slippers or an extra pair of shoes to keep our classroom dry and clean.

Week of November 13 – 17 Native Americans, pilgrims and Turkeys

Last week we reviewed our letters and talked about harvest.

This week we will learn a new letter “Hh”, talk about Thanksgiving and continue with the number 3.

We will be having our preschool feast on Tuesday, Novmeber21st.  There is a sign – up on the clipboard if you would like to bring something in.  Please make sure everything is ready made and able to be passed out.  Please have enough for 18 children.

When the weather is muddy or snowy, please have your child bring in a pair of slippers or an extra pair of shoes to keep our classroom dry and clean.

There will be no school on Wednesday, November 22nd, Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, November 24th for the holiday.

Week of October 6 – 10 Harvest

Last week we learned the letter “Gg” and talked about monsters.

This week we will review our letters that we have learned, talk about harvest, the number 3 and the color brown.

I want to thank all of you who donated treats and helped out at our Halloween party.

We will be having our preschool feast on Tuesday, November 21st.  There will be a sign – up sheet next week.

When the weather is muddy or snowy, please have your child bring in a pair of slippers or an extra pair of shoes to keep our classroom dry and clean.

There will be no school on Wednesday, November 22, Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24th for the holiday.

The picture of the turkey being sent home is the homework for this month.  Please have your child color this and return this to me so I can mail it.

Week of October 30 – November 3 Monsters

Last week we learned the letter “Ff” and talked about spooky friends.

This week we will learn a new letter “Gg”, continue with the number 2 and the color black.

We will be having our Halloween party on Tuesday.  The children can wear costumes to school, if your child does not have a costume, they can wear something from our dress up area; please no weapons, masks or make up. If your child is not scheduled for that day, you may bring your child and stay with them. The party will start at 10:30am.

There will be no school on Tuesday, November 7th.
