May 7 – 11 Families
Dear Parents,
Last week we learned the letter “Ww” and continued with the number 8 and color blue. We also talked about under the sea. Friday was Star Wars day!
This week we will learn a new letter “Xx”, a new number 9 and a new color of the month; purple. We will also talk about our families, how they are alike and how they are different.
Please bring in a family photo for the children to share with their friends.
Please make sure that your child is eating breakfast before they come to school. We have had many children saying that they are hungry and they want to eat as soon school starts. We don’t eat our morning snack until 10:45/11:00am, that is a long time to wait for your child if they don’t eat before coming to school. We provide a snack not a meal.
Many of you mentioned at conferences that you would rather that your child not drink from the classroom faucet. If this is the case, your child should bring in a labeled water bottle to keep in their cubby.
Have a great week,
Ms. Lisa and Ms. Maria
