Dear Parents,

This week we will learn a new letter “Ee” and continue with the number 2 and color black.  We will also talk about community helpers and what they do for our neighborhoods.

The sign up sheet for Halloween will come out next Wednesday.

Lauren had the “All About Me” binder this week.  Malik will have it next week.

Try to dress your children in layers, our classroom is comfortable in the morning but tends to get colder as the day goes on.

Dear Parents,

This week we will learn a new letter “Dd” and we will continue with the number 2 and the color black.  We will also talk about fire safety.

Wednesday, October 31st we will have a fall party.  The children will be able to wear their costumes, please no make up, weapons or accessories. If your child does not have a costume, they can wear one of our dress up outfits.  If your child does not come the day of our party(or any parties during the school year), they will not be able to switch days.

Annie has the “All About Me” binder this week!  And Lauren next week!

Dear Parents,

This week we will be talking about space.  We will also be learning a new letter “Cc”, a new number “2” and the color black.

Today was picture day.  Everyone gave a great smile!

This week will be having spirit week:

Tuesday: pajamas; you can wear your pajamas.  Remember to bring an extra pair of shoes if you wear your slippers.

Wednesday:  tie dye

Thursday: neon

Friday: pink

In October, we will be having a fall party on Wednesday, October 31st.  The children will be able to wear a costume.  If your child does not have a costume, they can wear our dress up clothes. If your child does not come on that day, they will not be able to switch days.  There will be a sign up sheet for donations coming soon.

Mrs. Heyam, Annie, Lauren and Malik will be having the “All About Me” binder this week.

I just heard that Dearborn High is having spirit week next week because of homecoming.  I thought it would be fun the for the preschoolers to dress up like the “big kids”.

Monday—wear black and/or orange

Tuesday—pajama day  You can also wear slippers but remember an extra pair of shoes for going outside

Wednesday—wear tie dye

Thursday—wear neon

Friday—wear pink

Dear Parents,

Last week we talked about things that start with the letter “A”.

This week, we will talk about what happens in the Fall.  We will also talk about a new letter “Bb” and continue with Number 1, the color yellow and identifying our names.

Picture day will be Monday, October 1st.  Packets will be coming home sometime this week.  If your child is not scheduled for Monday and you would like them to get their pictures, you can bring them and stay with them while they are getting their pictures taken.  Our picture time is at 8:30am.

Reminders:  Please be aware of the weather, and have the appropriate clothing to enjoy it. And easy clothing for going potty.

Dear parents,

Last week we talked about how we are alike and how we are different.  We also learned our first number “1”.

This week, we will learn our first letter “A” continue with the number 1, the color yellow and our names.  We will also talk about things that start with the letter A.

If your child is not feeling well, please keep them home; this is for the health of the other child in the classroom, the teachers and their families. Thank you.

When dressing your child in the morning, please remember that they have to be independent in the bathroom.  Put clothes on them that they can fasten and unfasten themselves as well as pull up and down.

Dear Parents,

Last week we met new friends, learned our classroom rules and had lots of fun!

This week we will learn our new number “1”.  We will also talk about ourselves; how we are the same and how we are different.

Ali is our first friend to take home the “All About Me” binder this week.  I will try to have your child take home the binder during their birthday week.  If there is a week with no one’s birthday, a summer birthday friend will be added in.  We will not take the binder home on the weeks that have holidays.

We will be going outside everyday, weather permitting, so please make sure your child has the appropriate clothing.

Please have your child use the restroom before coming to school; less time in the restroom is more time in the classroom.

I can’t believe we have almost completed the first week of school!

This week, we will meet new friends, play with each other and learn the classroom rules.

I will be giving weekly updates about our class.  On the bottom of the blog there is a spot where you can translate the type into any language.

We have morning snack between 10:45 – 11:00.  Please make sure your child is eating and is having enough.  We have many children saying they are hungry in the morning.

Your child will be bringing home an “All About Me” binder.  Please find their paper inside and fill it out together with drawings or pictures.  After filling out the paper, return the binder to school so your child can share with friends.  During your child’s “All About Me” week, your child can bring in a special toy ans snack.

If you have any questions, please leave a note in your child’s folder.

Last week we learned the “Yy” and continued with the number 9 and color purple.  We also talked about dinosaurs.

This week we will learn our last letter,”Zz” and continue with the number 9 and color purple.  We will also talk about bugs and insects.

Please have your child wear closed toed shoes, because of the wood chips, when we go outside.
