September 18 – 22 Apple Starts With “A”

Last week we learned the number one, the color yellow and talked about school.

This week we will learn the letter “Aa”, continue with the number 1 and color yellow.  We will also talk about the things that start with the letter “A”; apples, alligator, ant …

Sharing is a huge part of preschool for getting along with friends.  In the classroom, we explain sharing as when a child is done with the item then the other child can have it, not when a child wants something they get it.  Please reinforce this at home.

When dropping off your child, could you take your child’s folder out of the backpack and put it in the cubbie.  This makes it a lot easier at the end of the day when we are rushed to go home.

Children are coming to school with running noses, which can be from the changing weather and/or allergies.  If you think your child could be sick, please keep them home.  We like to share in preschool but we would rather not share germs.

If you have any questions please feel free to put a note in your child’s folder, or email me:  bonzal@dearbornschools.org

Have a great week, Ms. Lisa and Mr. Moe
