Welcome back!

Last week we learned a new letter “Qq” and reviewed the number “6”.  We learned about the presidents; Lincoln and Washington.

This week we will learn a new letter “Rr” and a new number “7”.  We will talk about the Mardi Gras, the Chinese New Year and celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday.

March is Reading month so the children will be able to bring in their favorite book to share with the class.  Please put your child’s name in their book.  The children will bring their book home the same day they share it.

Week of March 6 – 10 will be Once Upon a Time, so the children can wear their princess, pirate, etc. costumes throughout the week.

Wednesday, March 15 there will be no school.  We will be holding conferences that day.  There will be sign-up sheet for the conferences.  They will last about 15 minutes, starting at 8:00am.

Friday, March 17 is St Patrick’s Day.  There will be a sign-

up sheet for snack.  Don’t forget to wear green!
