This year, Howard Preschool will celebrate

another great year of learning by counting down

the last 26 days of the school year with 26

special activites!

 

Please read through the activities and their descriptions as some days

have your child wearing certain clothing and/or bringing items to class.

Participation is not required but we hope that everyone will join in this

celebration in some way over the next couple of weeks.  If you have any

questions or concerns, please contact us.  Thank you!

 

May 9                        Animal Day                          Bring a small stuffed animal to class.

May 10          Beach Day                            Bring your flip-flops, sunglasses and towel.         (Remember  that you need proper shoes for the playground and/or gym class.)

May 11          Cookie Day                           We’ll enjoy a cookie treat!

May 12          Dress Your Best                   All students are encouraged to dress up in nice clothes.

May 15          Extra Recess Day                We will have one extra recess today. (Weather permitting)

May 16          Flag Day                                Let’s support our troops and dress in RED, WHITE and BLUE.

May 17          Game Day                            We will play a game outside. (Weather permitting)

May 18          Hot Wheel Day                   We will paint with some cars!

May 19          Ice Cream Day                     We’ll enjoy an ice cream treat!

May 22          Jam Day                                Pump up the jam!

May 23          Keep Smiling Day               We will have a great day!

May 24          Lightning Bug Day              We will make a jar filled with lightning bugs!

May 25          Mismatch Day                     All students will wear clothes that don’t match.

May 30          No Homework Day                        Enjoy a night with NO homework!

May 31          Out to the Ball Game         Wear a shirt from your favorite sports team.

June 1            Pajama Day                         All students will wear their pajamas.

June 2            Quiet Day                             Enjoy some extra silence!

June 5            Rhino Day                             We will “act” like wild animals.

June 6            Silly Sock/Shoe Day           Wear your craziest socks and shoes!

June 7            Tie-dye Day                          Wear anything you have that’s tie-dyed.

June 8            Uniform Day                        Wear an ‘uniform ‘to school.  This could include a career or a sports, ballet, dance, etc.

June 9            Video Day                             We’ll watch a video.

June 12         Wacky, Wild Hair Day       Who will have the wildest hair-do today?

June 13         X-change Autographs Day           Gather the signatures of your friends and teachers.

June 14         Year end graduation         We will celebrate our year in preschool.

June 15         Zoom Out of School!         Have a wonderful summer vacation!
