Week of February 4th

It’s already February! Last week was a crazy week with many snow days so we are catching up with our work this week. In Social Studies we have been learning about how Michigan grew and more people came. We will be testing this week and beginning a new unit on the economy of Michigan. In math we are continuing our work with area. In writing we are continuing our opinion pieces on whether or not kids should get prizes for good grades. For spelling, we are working with homophones. We will have a much longer list of words for this week because we are testing both last week’s homophones and this week’s homophones. The list includes:

There will be no cold words this week, so these are all the words on the test. This week there is a late start on Wednesday. also, the mobile dentist will be here on Friday and then continue next week.
