Hello,
Happy Mother’s Day! I hope you had a restful weekend. Please make sure your child is attempting all assignments on the Online Learning template. I am monitoring all work and giving credit for work that is being done. There will be a report card for this card marking. Please have your child follow the template day by day, as all work should not be completed in one day. For example, look at May 11, 2020, assignments and go down the list. Students should start with Espark, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Everything else on the template can be done after all the other subjects are done. Your child needs to put effort for full credit. Please click on the link below for a detailed lesson plan for the week of May 11 – May 15, 2020, that needs to be completed daily:

Update for 4/27/20 – 5/1/20 Lesson Plans
Good Evening,
I hope you had a restful weekend. The Superintendent Dr. Maleyko informed all parents of the activity of a handful of students who interrupted Google hangout student learning sessions. Per district directive, I have to refrain from live teaching/Google Meet this week. As such, I will not be able to do Google Meet. I am working on different learning platforms for next week. I will keep you posted throughout the week. We will continue as usual with the lesson plan templates, and the assignments on Google Classroom. Thank you!

Important Information
Hello Parents,
I hope you and your family are doing well and staying safe. I want to share some important information that help you plan better:
Tomorrow (Monday), April 20, 2020, students will start working on Math Module 5, which deals with fractions. This Module is all about developing a understanding of fractions as numbers. I assigned Mission 5 on Zearn, so all students will be working on Mission 5 lessons. I understand that some are still working on different lessons on Mission 7, and some are finished, and started Mission 8. Do not worry, all the work is saved and you will be able to resume work on where you left off.
Also, reading, writing, social studies, and science (except for math) daily assignments are assigned through Google Classroom. Please make sure to click submit/turn in once you finish the assignment so I am able to check it and provide feedback.
Please take a picture of your daily math assignment and send it to ClassDojo so I can check it and provide feedback.
Starting this Wednesday, I will be having a Google Meet/Hangout every Wednesday at 12 p.m. with the my class. Please share the date and time with your child. I will post the invitation as an assignment on Google Classroom tomorrow; and I will share the directions on both Iblog and Dojo.
Please make sure that your child is working on completing the assigned daily lessons. I am required to keep a log of students’ work, and I am also required to complete the Report Card at the end of the marking period. Please note that the assigned daily work can be completed on a different day. I totally understand that you have many responsibilities during this difficult time.
Please let me know if you have any questions! Thank you for your support, and have a great day!
