Chemical reaction experiments

Looking for a color change when trying to tell the difference between a chemical and a physical change.

Foam is awesome! The foam we made was special because each tiny foam bubble was filled with oxygen. The yeast acted as a catalyst (a helper) to remove the oxygen from the hydrogen peroxide. Since it did this very fast, it created lots and lots of bubbles.

Halloween Party
Happy Halloween!
Dear Ghouls and Goblins,
It’s party time! But to make sure we are not partying all day long and eating too many goodies, celebrations will be taking place in the PM only. This means your student will be celebrating Halloween on Monday October 31st during 5th hour!
Your student may want to wear a funny hat, silly glasses, or a Halloween shirt and/or colors if they would like to get into the Halloween spirit. If they bring in a costume, they must be able to put it on top of their clothes independently.
Festivities will include: arts and crafts, games, tattoos, music and treats with our YAC group (general education peer group)
If parents would like to donate individually wrapped candies, cookies, juice or other snacks that would be great!!!
