The cloze procedure is a reading comprehension activity in which words are omitted from a passage and students are required to fill in the blanks. This is incredibly useful in reading instruction because it provides valuable reading comprehension information.

Skittles are coated in food coloring and sugar. When you pour water into the circle of skittles the color and sugar dissolves into the water and then diffuses through the water sending the colors inwards. The reason that the colors meet in the middle of the plate and do not mix is because each color has the same amount of sugar content. No color is heavier or thicker than another.
