All Classes!

Good Morning! 1/2 and 4/5 hour, your module electronic worksheet, quizzes and test are all due Monday 4/6. 3rd Hour is due TODAY! When you finish the quizzes and worksheets please email me and I will open the test for you. Those who have finished it all, have done well! Then you can enjoy your spring break, as much as we possibly can! I think we all knew yesterday was coming. Please remember, school is NOT DONE! We are just doing it a little differently. Once we hear from the district how things will be moving forward as far as the e-learning, I will be communicating with you all.

Some time management recommendations (this is the hardest part for everyone!):

1.) Make a schedule (get up same time everyday)
-eat breakfast
-give yourself an hour to go on GOOGLE CLASSROOM, check remind messages, iblogs,
EMAIL
-make a list of classes, assignment to do list, check off as you go through.
2.) Pretend as though you are going into school everyday
3.) Setup a designated area to work on your school work
-not in your bed! That is too comfortable, you will want to nap(no sleeping in school) 🙂
4.) Try to keep your phone in another room, so that you don’t get distracted
5.) Take breaks in between class time
6.) Take a lunch
7.) Check your assignment to do list and check off as you go.
8.) How ever long you have a class a day, designate that amount (maybe more) to that class
during the day. Example: you have me 2 hours in a day (schedule that time during the day
with me).
9.) School is done
10.) Have fun, make tiktoks, check your social media, play games with your family, go outside
and go for a walk, get some exercise. I am begging you, social distance, please!
11.) Try to eat healthy, don’t pack on the Corona 15! (Like the freshman 15 when you go to
college).
12.) Stay healthy and safe

Enjoy your spring break! 🙂

4/1 & 4/2

1/2 & 4/5 Hour:

Good Morning, I hope everyone is safe and healthy. Hopefully I didn’t freak too many of you out yesterday with my April Fools Joke! LOL Touching base with all of you, you can always comment on google classroom if you have any questions or concerns. As well as email or remind app. The Governor will be having a press conference this morning, with how things will be going from here on out. Please tune in, if possible. Please keep up on your Anatomy and Physiology section on the AES website! Some of you have not signed up, you will get behind if you don’t stay on top of it. We have nothing but time right now, so take advantage of it and stay focused and educated during this time. Make sure YOU DO THE ELECTRONIC WORKSHEET as well as the quiz. Once you are done with all sections, let me know and I will open the final test over that section. Some of you have NOT SIGNED UP YET!!!! Helllllooooo, what are you waiting for? Please sign up ASAP, I will be sending out emails for those who have not, and making phone calls to parents. I do not want to have to do this, so please do your part and work on your enrichment. Thank you! I may try to do another Google Meet, in the evening. Either you all don’t miss me like I miss you, or you were sleeping the other day. 🙁 I will keep you posted.

3/30 & 3/31

1/2 & 4/5 Hour:

Continue working on your AES modules. SOME OF YOU HAVEN’T SIGNED UP YET, please sign up and continue to work through this information. MAKE SURE YOU DO THE WORKSHEETS as you go along the modules, this will be easier to fill the worksheets in as you go, versus doing it when you are done. You then can do the quiz for each section at the end of it. Once you are finished with all of the sections, you will email me and I will open the Final test over the anatomy and physiology portion. You have all been working on your own systems, so that portion you should do phenomenal on. 🙂 Don’t forget this is due on April 6.

You all should have turned in your resume and cover letter we were working on before we left school. Once you are done with the modules, take some time to google resumes and cover letters for the medical field to get some ideas of information that healthcare professionals have on their resumes.

3/26 & 3/27

Thank you to everyone who has been checking in everyday via email and google classroom. If you haven’t been, please do so, as I have made announcements and assignments on google classroom since our time away.

1/2 & 4/5 Hour: Please make sure you sign up to the AES website as soon as possible. We will be using this website as part of our e-learning while we are away from our school. This website, instructions and classroom code is on google classroom. NOTE: There are Anatomy and Physiology modules with electronic worksheets that you can do simultaneously as you work on the modules. Then there will be a quiz after each section. After you are all done with the worksheets and quizzes for each section, there will a “chapter” test at the end. This is a GREAT website for you all to be using, I HIGHLY encourage you to keep yourself engaged with learning while at home. There are 13 modules over the body systems that we have already been learning about. The first module worksheet is very long and will take time, so please make sure you do the worksheet as you go along, it will be less time consuming. The worksheets after the first one are not as long, so please don’t get discouraged. Miss you all! 🙂

3rd Hour: Please make sure you sign up to the AES website as soon as possible. We will be using this website as part of our e-learning while we are away from our school. Since you have already done(or should have), a resume, cover letter, job application and references, you DO NOT need to do the part that states to create a resume, application worksheet or resignation worksheet. Please do all modules, electronic worksheets for the modules and the quizzes at the end. There are other chapters uploaded, Healthcare Systems and Healthcare Information Technologies, please do not move onto those until instructed to do so. Miss you all!

Students, please see google classroom updates for your assignments and memo from me.

Most importantly, please take this time to love your family, appreciate what you have, appreciate the structure, freedom, and normalcy we all had before this and we will come out better and stronger human beings because of it. Please take time to make a schedule for yourself everyday. Set time for classwork during the day, schedule time to help out around the house, plan some family time and activities, take time for “yourself”, learn something new (google, you may be surprised that you are interested in other things out there)! GO OUTSIDE! Get some fresh air, but practice social distancing while you are there. Get some exercise, eat healthy, and continue to educate yourself. I will be with you every step of the way, email me or send me a message on remind. I MISS YOU ALL AND CAN’T WAIT TO BE BACK IN THE CLASSROOM and hear, Miss, Miss, Miss, Miss! LOL ~ Mrs. Lang

1/2 Hour & 4/5 Hour:

Thank you everyone for the hard work so far. I know this has been a huge adjustment! It is for me too, so please be patient with me on my end. I am trying my hardest to be able to provide you with information and remote learning the best I can at this point. Book Notes are due Friday over 7.7. If you have viewed the video, thank you. If you have not, please do so and mark that its done or turned in. This shows me that you watched it. Your assignment today and tomorrow is to continue your research on Coronavirus. The research on Coronavirus in the form of a “poster” or google slide show is due Monday. Your objective is to research and educate yourself on the disease. Grading on assessments at this point, is not point based. Please continue to work on the assessments assigned and most importantly stay safe! Take this time to practice social distancing and spending quality time with your immediate family and try to keep some sort of routine. We don’t know how this is all going to play out, so we need to keep some sort of normalcy that we can while being home. I miss you all and can’t wait to be back in the classroom!
