PEEK AT THE WEEK
- Our core vocab word of the week was “go”
- We practiced using the word “go” in many ways. The children cheered their friends on saying “Go ____, go!” we made cars go, and we talked about places we go at school (gym, art, music, playground)
- Our letter of the week was “G”
- We practiced the letter “G” by reading an interactive book and searching through our bean bin for objects that start with the letter “G,” we did a gumball bingo sheet and sang letter “G” songs
- The children worked on identifying the first letter of their name during morning attendance and while we read our name book during story time
- We had group therapy and read Five Silly Ghosts then made our very own ghost craft
- We went trick or treating at ASC the kids had so much fun dressing up and see all the adults dressed up while passing out candy. We practiced signing thank you to everyone who help fill our special bags Ms. Diane made for us
- The children listened to the story “Going on a Leaf Hunt”
- The students painted at the easel. We are going to use their paintings to make a class turkey to hang in the hallway outside out room
