PEEK AT THE WEEK

• This week we worked on the core vocab word “more.” We practiced using the word “more” by requesting more food at snack time and requesting Miss Ashley to blow more bubbles.  We also talked about which foods and drinks we like more
• We continued to learn about being a kind friend and sharing
• The children listened to the story, “Have you Filled a Bucket Today” then made a bucket craft and wrote about how they can fill someone’s bucket
• We practiced recognizing the first letter of our names with our class book
• The students drew in their journals
• We worked on building stamina during read to self time
• The children practiced counting and number recognition with our 5 Little Monkeys cookie sheet game
• We had a pizza party with Mrs. Gallery (speech therapist) and Ms. Staci (OT) during which we practiced requesting more pizza and made lemonade!
• We had a practice tornado drill
• The students played outside on the playground
