Newsletter for the Week of June 5th

PEEK AT THE WEEK

  • This week we continued our ocean theme. We read a book about jellyfish and filled in a can, have, are chart with all of the fun facts we learned about them.  After, we painted a jelly fish craft.
  • We practiced the first letter of our names.
  • Worked on building stamina during read to self time.
  • Went to Edsel Ford for Special Ed Field Day. We had so much fun playing all the games that were set up and dancing to the music.
  • We had an end of the year cupcake party with Mrs. Gallery, Mr. Joe, and Ms. Trisha.
  • The children drew in their journals.
  • We practiced counting ocean creatures and matching the corresponding number.
  • The students worked on their fine motor skills with puzzles, lacing beads, and stacking small blocks.
  • We had a second field day here at Snow. The kids loved trying out all of the different events! We had a great time. 🙂
