PEEK AT THE WEEK
- On Monday we made bird feeders with Mrs. Gallery and hung them up on the trees in the courtyard. On our way to music we could see the birds eating from them already!
- The children drew in their journals. Some students practiced copying and drawing circles.
- We worked on the color yellow. We read an adaptive book where we had to match pictures and then completed a coloring sheet.
- The students practiced making requests for more bubbles. This is a new favorite activity!
- We are still learning about plants and gardens. We read a book about worms and how they help our plants. After, we made delicious dirt cups. The dirt cups were made with pudding, cool whip, Oreo cookies, and of course gummy worms!
- The students listened to the story “Tiny Seed” and then finger painted flowers to look just like the ones Eric Carle made for the book.
- We practiced identifying the first letters in our names with our class name book.
- The students practiced counting with an interactive garden counting book and then we counted the number of veggies we found on our worksheet.
