PEEK AT THE WEEK

• On Monday we had therapy group with Mr. Joe and Mrs. Gallery. We made all sorts of Valentine crafts.  We mixed vinegar and baking soda to make fizzy paint and we tore paper to decorate hearts.
• We practiced our handwriting with the letter “q” and by drawing in our journals.
• The children worked on their fine motor skills with pegs and fine motor jars.
• On Wednesday, we predicted if the groundhog would see his shadow or not.
• The children made Valentine’s with our kindergarten peer pals.
• We worked on vocabulary words “go”, “like”, and “no.”
• The children marble painted with red and white paint.
• We read a book about going to the dentist and talked about how it’s important to brush and floss our teeth.
• We worked on matching colors with a Valentine color song and colored hearts.

Upcoming Events

• Miss Ashley will be out all day on Monday, February 6^th for district related training.
• Late start is Wednesday, February 15^th. Miss Ashley will also be out in the morning on this day for district related training.
• No school Monday, February 20^th – Friday, February 24^th for mid-winter break.
