PEEK AT THE WEEK

  • On Monday we played on the playground with Mr. Joe and Mrs. Gallery.
  • This week we learned about plants and what they need to grow. We read a story, completed a graphic organizer, and made a plant craft.
  • The children practiced counting objects you find in the garden.
  • We sorted vegetables by color.
  • We practiced recognizing the first letter of our names.
  • The children worked on their fine motor skills with puzzles, shape sorters, button jars, peg jars, and tongs.
  • We read “There was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Frog” and “fed” our old lady prop.
  • We used our new bubble gun while practicing making requests. The students practiced signing “more” and “please.”  Some of our verbal students practiced forming sentences to make requests such as “Can I have a turn?”
