Newsletter for the Week of December 19th

PEEK AT THE WEEK

  • We had group therapy with Mr. Joe and Mrs. Gallery on Monday. We made fruit loop candy canes and decorated sugar cookies.
  • The students finished their holiday shape books.
  • We sang jingle bells and everyone had bells to shake along to the music.
  • We practiced counting with a gingerbread poem.
  • The students made shape trees and counted how many ornaments they used.
  • We practiced color recognition with a reindeer nose game.
  • The children chose if they would rather be Santa’s reindeer or elf and we graphed the results. It was a close call but more people wanted to be an elf.
  • We went to the school holiday sing along.
  • Our kindergarten peer pals joined us to color gingerbread pictures to give to senior citizens in a nursing home.
  • We had a pancake breakfast on Friday.
  • It was so much fun seeing everyone participate in dressing up for spirit week!

I hope everyone has a great winter break!

See you next year!
