PEEK AT THE WEEK

  • The students worked on their fine motor skills this week with puzzles, magnetic mazes, peg jars, button jars, and makers.
  • We worked on the letter “k” completing our book page with key prints.
  • The students practiced counting to 5 and number recognition with numbers games on the white board. They loved cheering each other on and having a chance to use the special “pen.”
  • We read “Seals on the Bus” and practiced making animal sounds.
  • The children browsed books about shapes and we began making a holiday shape book.
  • We worked on color recognition and reading with an interactive book called “I See Colors” and the children helped me read with a voice output device.
  • We celebrate Ali’s birthday with cupcakes, cookies, and goodie bags. Happy 4th Birthday Ali!! Thank you for the yummy snacks!
  • The children made textured paintings using bows that you would put on a gift. Our paintings will hang outside our classroom.
