PEEK AT THE WEEK
- The children explored the inside of a pumpkin!
- We read a book about colors and then talked about the colors we like best.
- The students used cookie cutters to stamp pumpkin shapes.
- We worked on reading to ourselves. We practiced turning pages, looking at pictures on the pages, and holing the book right side up.
- The students put together a jack-o-lantern during an interactive story. We practiced pointing to our body parts that the jack-o-lantern has (eyes, nose, and mouth).
- The children made textured ghost paintings.
- We read a story about bats and learned a lot of new facts. After the story we wrote down the new things we learned. Next, we worked on our fine motor skills and tore up paper to make a bat art project.
