PEEK AT THE WEEK
- On Monday, we had a group therapy session with Mr. Joe and Mrs. Gallery after we had our pictures taken. Joe and Mrs. Gallery worked with us on oral motor skills. We also practiced scooping with spoons. The children also had the chance to dig through peanut butter to find raisins to work on their fine motor skills.
- We read a story about a boy who visits a farm and talked about how we saw many of the same things on our field trip last week.
- The children drew in their journals.
- We sang Old McDonald had a Farm. The children choose the animals that would come next in the song.
- We played at the sensory table with the addition of farm animal toys. While we played we tried making animal noises.
- The students finger painted red barns.
- We practiced counting with Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed.
- We read a story about how leaves change colors in the fall. After, we painted with fall colors at the easel. The children mixed yellow and red paint together to make orange.
