Final Update! Final Grade, Due Dates & Last Day of School…

Hello all,

Yes, it’s the last week of school! The offical last day is Thursday, June 11  No new work will be assigned this week so that students can finish missing assignments and submit them for final grading. I will be accepting late student work no later than 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10. Remember, an “N” is assigned to students who are not participating – it is the equivalent of a failing grade! These students and their families have been contacted several times throughout the marking period. As was also previously communicated, all other students will receive an A, B, or C. In addition, some students qualified for a “G” in place of a letter grade — which is considered full credit for the class.

Here’s a final breakdown of all required assignments:

2D Art: Assignment #1 (What you Miss About Art?) – Past Due
Assignment #2 (Value Scale) – Past Due
Assignment #3 (Color Associations w/s) – Past Due

It’s been a pleasure being your teacher in this crazy, unprecedented time! Thank you for overcoming this challenge with me… and an extra special thank you to the parents who supported their kids and us teachers! We could’nt have done it without you! I wish you and your families a safe & healthy summer Smile If the circumstances allow, I hope to be able to see you all in the Fall. 8th graders: Wohoo! You made it! Best of luck in high school…you’ll be missed Cry

Take care —

Ms. Kobeissi
