Today, make sure that you have visited Science Enrichment, PE, Art, and Music for their assignments this week. They are putting completed or not completed marks on your last report card too!

This week, your progress report will contain the following assignments. Please take today and make sure you are caught up on your work:

3rd grade math – Lesson 12 was due Monday, Lesson 13, and a Mid Module Assessment. (I have 3 tests so far.) Zearn Lesson 13 at least. (only 3 students are there)

4th grade math – Lesson 14 was due Monday. Lessons 16 and 17. Zearn lesson 16 at least. (only 4 students are there)

Science – What do blind people see? Answer questions on Google Doc from the video.

Writing – Your final copy of your President report is due Friday. (3 students are done)

Reading: Raz Kids reading group book – read and take quiz. Don’t forget to answer question #11 with sentences.

Readworks.org – Due Friday – Device May Help Blind People See. (6 turned in, but a few will come back today – must have 80%)

Mystery Clues 4 and 5 – Stolen Time/Who was the bad guy? (only 8 of you have told me who the villain is! Who is the bad guy? Or bad girl?)

In order to consider an assignment “completed” Lindbergh staff is looking for an 80% or higher effort in the work. These percentages or “points” are not being used for the Final Report Card, but as a way to say if the assignment was done correctly with effort. I have had to send back assignments that are either “blank” or many answers are incorrect – showing me that not a lot of effort was put into the work. If you receive a message from me – either through the student’s google account, or a parent email, stating that an assignment needs to be redone, please go back to Google Classroom and reread the directions for that assignment. This will show on the weekly Progress Report as completed or not. I also turn in my records of completed assignments to Ms. Tiba and the District.

**As always, if there is a reason or difficulty that a student cannot complete assignments, please let me know so I am aware during the week -rather than after you receive the Progress Report.

Thank you again for your support during this time!

I had to reassign the directions to Readworks.org that I had put on Google Classroom. There is nothing there to turn in, just reminding us how to get to the site and directions on the 2 articles. Please look now under Reading everyone May 13. Sorry about that!

Dearborn is scheduling On Line Summer School at this time. The On Line Learning will be from June 15 – the end of July.

One of my jobs right now is to keep track of which students are doing their assignments on line. I fill out 2 reports weekly – One to Ms. Tiba, one to Dearborn Schools.

If it is determined that students are not doing work at this time for no reason, they will need to do on line learning during the Summer before moving on in the Fall.

PLEASE, let me know if there is a reason or hardship that your child cannot do work at this time. Please tell your 3rd or 4th grader that we ARE in school right now, and assignments are due. I will continue to send home Progress Reports each weekend.

It is imperative that you read the blog each morning and go to Google Classroom for the assignments.
