Dear Parents, On Friday, October 25, at 9:00 am we will be holding an important parent meeting in the gym. Members from the Superintendent’s office will be coming to Becker to present on the BRICS Bond Proposal that will be on the November 5th ballot. We highly encourage you to attend this very important meeting.

A few students from 4th and 5th grades were selected to be part of the Robotics Exobots.  We will be working on our project and core values posters.  Also we will putting together our tasks and missions.  Robotics will meet every Friday, from 3:35-4:35. Students in fifth grade will be taking the Michigan Student Test of Educational Progress (M-STEP). This school year, the testing window for the new M-STEP assessments for fifth grade, is April 8-May 3.  Students in 5th grade will take the reading, writing and math assessments.   Both tests will include open-ended response, writing, and multiple choice questions. … Continue reading »

Mobile Ed.  will be presenting an ALL day STEAM Museum assembly, Tuesday, April 9th. Students will engage in different learning activities through science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.    

Students in 3rd-5th grades will take a passage-based writing field test starting Monday, January 28 to Friday, February 1st.  

WIDA ACCESS begins February 4th and ends March 22, 2019.  The majority of students in 1st-5th grade will take the assessment online.  Kindergarteners will take the test one-on-one using a test booklet.

Canned Food  Drive starting Monday, November 5th to Friday, November 16, 2018.  Thank you for your generosity to help those in need.
