Dear Parents,
Just a reminder, our Becker Summer Camp begins tomorrow, Wednesday, June 23rd. Students should arrive and wait outside the main doors on Henson st. tomorrow morning. All students may come in at 8:45 am for breakfast. Class begins at 9:00 am. 
Halal hotdogs will be served during lunch time. Students are still required to wear a mask in school, but may remove their mask while outdoors. Please be sure your child gets picked up at 2:00 pm if you have signed up for a half-day. Students who are in the full day camp should be picked up between 4:45-5:00pm.

Dear Families,

Your child will be bringing home a summer school registration form next week. We are excited about our upcoming summer school program beginning on June 23-August 13, 2021. Teachers will focus on helping students build proficiency in reading, writing, math, and science. Additionally, students will have opportunities to join in on the fun and innovative enrichment activities that will help to flourish their social-emotional well-being. All students are welcome and highly encouraged to attend; regardless of their current academic standing. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Please complete the registration form and send it back to school with your child by Friday, May 7. All safety protocols and social distance practices will remain in place to help ensure everyone’s safety. We are looking forward to continuing the work with your children to help prepare them for the school year that lies ahead.
VLP Families: Please stop by the school to complete the registration form if you would like your child to participate in this face-to-face summer program.

Kindergarten Round-Up Invitation

Dear Parents,

On Thursday, March 25, 2021 Becker Elementary School is having its annual Kindergarten Round-up for all children who will turn five years old by September 1^st 2021. During this time you will have the opportunity to ask questions and meet our wonderful staff.  Please join the zoom link provided on our school blog at becker.dearbornschools.org 

Our meeting will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m. 

In the coming days following the meeting, we will call to schedule you to bring in your child to take an incoming kindergarten test, while you register your child for kindergarten in our office.
