Well, we’ve waited a whole two years, and now it’s time for the River Oaks Spelling Bee!
First, the classroom be will be held on Next Friday, March 13th. The time is up to your teacher. You will receive your spelling list on Friday March 6th to prepare! Each Friday, you will receive the following week’s List.
Next is the Grade Level Bee! The top three spellers in your class will move forward to the go against the top spellers in the other classes in your grade. (Mrs. Fowler’s 2nd grade will go against 2nd grade, and her 3rd grade against 3rd grade) This will be on March 20th.
The top three spellers from the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade Level Bees will move forward to the Big Bee on Friday, March 27th at 2pm!
Don’t worry K/1, you’re in the Bee too! Kindergarten and 1st grade will compete in their own mini- bee on Friday March 20th. The winner and runner up will be rewarded at the Big Bee on March 27th!
Winner of the Big Bee will receive a $100.00 Gift Card!
Winner of the Mini- Bee will receive a $50.00 Gift Card!
Runners up will receive $50 (Big) and $25 (Mini)gift cards!
