Monday and Tuesday (January 14 & 15) will be our last two regular schedule days of class. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, PE students will be expected to bring swimsuits as we will be swimming for the first half of the final. PE clothes are also required for the second half of class.
Swim make-ups will be every Wednesday from now until the end of the semester. They will be held at 2:30 p.m. in the pool. Students need to be dressed in proper swim attire and ready to participate by 2:25, be in the pool by 2:30 and be out by 2:50 p.m.
The first semester swim unit for all of my 9th grade students will begin on Monday, November 26. A proper swimsuit and towel are required and swim goggles recommended.
The first semester Health Unit will end Tuesday, November 20. Students are responsible for turning in their health folders at that time and will be taking a 30 question Nutrition and Drugs, Alcohol & Tobacco quiz.
1st Semester Health Unit will begin Monday, November 5th. The curriculum for this unit focuses on aspects of nutrition and the dangers of drugs, alcohol and tobacco.
Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Monday, October 15 and Wednesday, October 17 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
Teachers will be available in either the cafeteria or gymnasium for conferences. Please try to limit conferences to five minutes so that teachers are able to confer with as many parents or guardians as possible.
First marking period report cards will be available for pickup by parents or guardians.
