Wednesday, May 3 and Thursday, May 4 will be the last two days of our 2nd semester swim unit. Students will be taking their 15 minute swim tests during these two days to finish out this unit. Grades for the 15 minute swim test and the swim unit itself will be posted on Student/Parent Connect by the beginning of next week and these grades will be reflected in the 5th card marking report cards.
Our swim unit began today, April 17 and will run through May 5. Students are expected to swim on a daily basis and come to school with swim trunks and a towel with which to dry off. Goggles are available for use but it is always recommended that you bring your own.
These tests are required for graduation so it is crucial that students attend at the specified times during testing week.
Parent-Teacher Conferences are Tuesday, March 21 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.Report cards for marking period 4 will be available for pick up by parents or guardians.
There will also be a Dual Enrollment meeting in the Media Center at 5:30 PM.
ASAP classes are cancelled for Tuesday except for E20/20 classes.

The end of regularly scheduled classes is Tuesday, January 24. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (January 25, 26 and 27) will consist of three half-days from 7:20-10:30. First and second hour finals will be held on Wednesday, January 25. Third and fourth hour finals will be held on Thursday, January 26. Fifth and Sixth hour finals will be held on Friday, January 27. Each final will last for 1 1/2 hours with the first final running from 7:20-8:50 and the second from 9:00 until 10:30.

The Swim Unit will begin immediately after Health on December 5 and will run all the way through December 23. Students are expected to have a swimsuit and towel on a daily basis. Goggles are optional but do help to limit eye irritation from the chlorine. I recommend that students bring some type of body wash to help take the chlorine off when they shower after swimming.
Our first semester Health Unit has begun and will run through Friday, December 2. Topics to be covered are: nutrition and the dangers of drugs, alcohol and tobacco.
