On Monday, March 19th our 2nd semester Health Unit will begin. The curriculum for this unit includes Human Growth and Development and Reproductive Health.

Letter for Health Class 2nd Semester 2017-18
On Tuesday, March 13th all 9th grade P.E. students will be taking home a parent letter discussing the 2nd semester Health Unit. The curriculum includes human growth and development and reproductive health. According to Michigan law, parents may choose to excuse their child from participation in this program. If you do not want your child to participate in this program, please sign and have your child return the form by Friday, March 16th to their respective P.E. instructor.
End of Swim Unit
The 2nd semester swim unit will end Wednesday, March 14th.

Note: These swim make-ups are open to all boys and girls.
2nd Semester Swim Unit
The 2nd semester Swim Unit will begin on Monday, February 26th for all 9th grade P.E. classes.
CPR TRAINING
On Tuesday, February 13 students will take a 50 minute course in CPR. The goal is to expose students to lifesaving skills before they graduate high school.
Fitness Test (Sit-Ups)
The One-Minute Sit-Up test will be on Thursday, February 15th. This will be the first of seven fitness test for the 2nd semester.

- Students who have not received their schedules should report to the attendance office.
- Co-op/Work Experience students must meet with Mrs. Harakas in Media Center during the assigned Co-op hours 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th.
- Berry Center / DCMST classes will begin tomorrow. Students attending other locations must report to and remain in the cafeteria.
- 4th hour teachers inform students of their assigned lunch period
Schedule changes
Schedule changes will be made for students who are academically misplaced or missing a class in their schedule. These students must see his/her counselor during that specific hour only.
P.E. locker clean-out for the 2017-18 1st semester
All P.E. lockers must be cleaned out by 10:45 a.m. Friday, January 26, 2018.
1st Semester 2017-18 Finals Week
Finals Week
All students will take semester final exams this week on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Please discourage students from bringing phones to school during final exam week. Students may not use phones during any final exam testing sessions.

~Wednesday, Jan. 24 – 1st and 2nd hour final exams; dismissal at 10:30 AM
~Thursday, Jan. 25 – 3rd and 4th hour final exams; dismissal at 10:30 AM
~Friday, Jan. 26 – 5th and 6th hour final exams; dismissal at 10:30 AM
~Monday, Jan. 29 – First day of second semester; shortened schedule with dismissal at 10:30 AM
