Battle Against Hunger This Week!
The Battle Against Hunger is an annual collective effort between Dearborn High School, Fordson High School, and Edsel Ford High School.
The goal this year is to collect 30,000 canned goods and raise $7500 to help the hungry in our local community.
This year, all canned goods collected will be donated to Zaman International to stock their warehouse and all funds collected will be donated to the Amity Foundation.
The Battle Against Hunger begins Monday, November 12 and will run until Friday, November 16.
To donate canned goods, there are five large bins located throughout Dearborn High School: two in the cafeteria, one in G Hall and one at each front entrance.
To donate money, DHS Student Council members will be visiting classrooms Wednesday morning during 1st and 5th hours or you can donate directly online at the Amity Foundation website.Wondering about the best non-perishable food items to donate?
