Hello everyone! I hope this fall weather is as pleasing you as it is me! I love this time of year.
8th grade is on pre-constitution America with The Articles of Confederation. We focused a lot this week on Shay’s rebellion as that was a major turning point in the creation of our country’s most sacred document. Their next test is scheduled for tuesday next week
7th grade is wrapping up the first civilization in the world in Mesopotamia. We have been focusing on what conditions are required for a civilization to thrive and cities to evolve. Their next test is also scheduled for tuesday next week.
STEM Apps is pushing on with the Future Cities research. We have finished up picking the natural disaster their group will focus on protecting a power grid from. This week has been learning more about the intricacies of how a power grid functions to give them a better background on what they will be dealing with when it comes time to innovate ideas.
