Today is K day in our ABC Countdown. Your writing activity today will be to write someone a letter of kindness.
Spelling Words: We have a spellingcity.com membership now! Your username is your FirstLast so for example AllyssaKerby, but with your name just like that. Capital to start both names with no space in between them. Your password is kerby. You are already assigned to the hard or normal words on this website.
Today do any 2 assignments, but save the word study and test for Friday!
Regular: bare, bear, son, sun, right, write, week, weak, hair, hare, stick, sister, snow, squirrel, song
Hard: piece, peace, due, do, dew, stair, stare, weight, wait, heard, herd, include, object, squirrel, scientist, material
Mrs. Abu-Rus: The next two days will be new assignments, so make sure you have finished memoirs of a goldfish!
Reading/Raz-KIds: Today you should practice read to someone. It IS telling me how you score on the quizzes… so please do your best. You should read for AT LEAST 20 minutes with a BOOK. I know you should have books at home.. At least the ones I gave you every month. Some of you are wondering what will happen with the March, April, and May books. I will bring them by towards the end of the month or in the beginning of June.
Writing: Today’s Prompt: “I think you are kind because ________”. This note is for someone at home. It is part of your ABC Countdown!I am also including more writing activities in different subjects. I also want you to write a chapter of a book a day. What does this mean? It means YOU are the author.. Like Mo Willems taught us!
