HAPPY NEW YEAR and WELCOME BACK!!!!!

Math: Number Stories Involving +/- of Fractions (both sides need to be completed)

READING: Read to Self for at least 30 min.

SPELLING: Write a friendly letter using all 15 of this week’s words. Can be typed or hand written.

This will be the last Spelling homework assignment. Starting tomorrow, students will be given class time (Daily 5- Word Work) to complete one Spelling assignment per day. Any additional assignments can be turned in at the end of the week for extra credit. Students can earn up to 4 Eagle Tickets for extra credit.

If you do not finish your Spelling in class, then it becomes homework.

MATH: +/- Mixed Numbers- This was Wednesday’s assignment. Students needed to draw models to show how they solved.  Most students already turned it in with the models drawn.

SS: “Close Reading” highlight and underline then answer questions 1-6.

Holiday Party and SPARKLE tomorrow!

Thank you so much to everyone who volunteered to donate items for our celebration. We will have our party in the team room across from the office.

For any family members who plan on attending, our party will start at 12:30.
