If you have any movies at home that have either a G or PG rating, and that you think kids in the class would enjoy, then you may bring one movie to school tomorrow. We will vote to determine which movie the class will watch on Thursday (PBIS Party). Don’t forget that you may wear your pajamas, robes, and slippers to school on Thursday as part of our celebration.

MATH: Fractions with denominators of 10 and 100

READING: Read to self for at least 30 min.

SPELLING: Remember to vary your spelling assignments this week!

This Friday is the Snowball Dance. Mrs. Dmitruchina and I are in need of volunteers to organize/ sell items for a bake sale. Also, we need baked goods to be donated. Please let me know if you are able to volunteer your time and/or donate items to be sold.

I almost forgot… The money that is raised will be put toward the cost of next year’s camping trip!

MATH: Quiz tomorrow! Review your notes on +/-/x of fractions.

SOCIAL STUDIES: Investigation- You might want to use a variety of sources to complete this assignment. For example, if you choose to investigate how people in California adapt to living with the possibility of earthquakes, then you might see what kind of information an Internet source will produce. You might know someone who lives in that part of the country, and interview them firsthand to find out about how they handle an earthquake.

MATH: Finish “Multiplying Fractions by Whole Numbers”. We will take the quiz on Monday.

READING: Read to Self for at least 30 min.

CONGRATULATIONS to the BOYS on their 24-0 victory over the girls (including Mrs. Coleman). The students earned this basketball reward based on whole-class behavior and compliments earned in specials or in the hallway. Once Mrs. Potato Head gets put back together again, we can plan another fun activity!

In the meantime… I must work on shooting the ball. Sheesh! I’m not the player I was back in the day!!!

MATH: Multiply a fraction by a whole number

SPELLING: Three assignments and any extra credit that you complete are due by Friday.

The PBIS Pep Rally for the month of December will take place this Thursday from 2:30-3:15pm.
