Good evening,

  • Parent-Teacher Conference reminders were sent home today. Please check to make sure the date/time will work for you. I’ll be happy to meet with you at a more convenient time if needed.
  • As we are learning about (social) Problem Solving at school, I hope that students are remembering to use Talk it Out strategies at home with siblings, cousins, friends. Please ask your child about the Peace Plan we practiced today.
  • Tomorrow is a typical FriYAY for us. We will need to continue to strive towards meeting our goals and work hard to earn a Halloween celebration on Tuesday. We’ve got this!

Good evening!

  • We’ve got check-out tomorrow. Don’t forget to bring your library book! Oh yeah, and GYM SHOES too!!!
  • Thanks to everyone who returned the Goal Setting Worksheet. We will be getting into our Leadership Binders on Friday.
  • I’ll check the Homework notebooks tomorrow. I didn’t have a chance to check last night’s assignment as I was in two meetings this afternoon.

Tuesday is HALLOWEEN!!! Mrs. Holls, Mrs. Post, and Mrs. Vipond have been working together to make our celebration extra special! We will have a craft, a math game, AND a healthy snack. If you would like to send treats to school, students may hand them out at the end of the day. Treat bags will be sent home so that adult family members can monitor consumption.

(It’s only) Tuesday, October 24, 2017

(All day I thought it was Wednesday.)

Good evening!

  • Goal Setting Worksheets should be returned tomorrow. A few were turned in today. Thanks for your help in the goal-setting process!
  • Conference reminders will be sent home by Friday. If you did not sign up at Open House, then a day/time will be assigned to you. If the assigned day/time does not work, we will come up with a new one.
  • Students who have a fever or vomiting should not return to school until they are 24 hours free of either the fever and/or vomiting. (I’m trying so hard not to get sick, and every day I’m exposed to something new. If you’ve got a hazmat suit I can borrow that would be awesome! JK)
  • Habit 3 is Put First Things First. Let’s be sure we have our nightly homework assignments completed so that we can share them with pride. I enjoy reading the entries and hope they’re not taking too long to complete.

Good night! Mrs. C

Good evening!

  • Each of the nightly homework assignments should have their own entry in the notebook. For example, Friday’s assignment was to practice tying shoelaces. A statement of how much time was spent tying, or how many laces tied would suffice. Drawing a picture would also work!
  • Book bags with all of their contents need to be sent to school and taken home every night. Please be sure to practice the sight word cards/ words on a ring (if you have that).
  • Wildly Important SMART Goals need to be completed and returned to school by Wednesday. We will be adding them to the Leadership Binders.

Have a restful evening! Mrs. C 😴

Good evening!

I wasn’t unable to login to iBlog last night so I apologize for not posting. Our school-wide PJ Day fundraiser brought in $215 for victims of the recent hurricanes!

  • Habit 3 is Put First Things First. Remember to take your Homework notebook, folder, and book bag to your desk.
  • Tomorrow is FriYAY and our awesome class has once again put Mrs. Potatohead together! I’ve got a special treat for each of you. You’ll get your reward at the end of the day.
  • Most students completed all of today’s assignments. Please check the folder for any unfinished work. You can give me your assignments at the end of the day tomorrow as we have been doing.
