HAPPY SOCKTOBER!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Families,

We are writing to tell you all about Socktober.

The Socktober project is an example of  HABIT 4, Think Win Win because…

  • Everyone is getting involved. -Kacie
  • You can donate socks and feel happy. -Devonte
  • You can donate socks so that the poor don’t get frostbite on their feet. -Mackenzie
  • People who don’t have socks will get socks. -Seth
  • It’s fair and everybody will have socks. -Deries
  • We have socks, but other people don’t. -Gracie
  • The socks will be donated. -Derrik

As you can see, we’re very excited about Socktober. Beginning next week, we can start bringing in NEW pairs of socks that will be donated to those who need them the most. Today we will be decorating a box for all the donations to go into. We need to start spreading the word about Socktober.

Each student will be given paper to make a poster. You can bring your poster to school, or share it with someone in your neighborhood. It’s important for us to reach as many people as we can in order to attain our goal of 350 pairs of socks school-wide.

Other ways to spread the word include: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, phone calls, and face-to-face…

Thank you in advance for helping to make this a successful SOCKTOBER!!!!!!!!
