HOLIDAY CELEBRATION UPDATE

Kacie and her mom have volunteered to bring a special treat for our celebration next Wednesday. We still need juice, plates, and napkins. Please contact me if you would like to donate something.

The craft is yet to be determined… Here are some ideas:

  • Reindeer puppet
  • Snowman puppet
  • Mini stockings
  • Cotton ball showman
  • Snowflakes
  • Paper plate snowmen
  • Santa face on a plate
  • Ugly Christmas Sweater ornament

If you have any ideas, please email me kedzov@dearbornschools.org. I am not much of a “crafter”… (I dropped out of scrapbooking after four weeks.) I’d still like for the students to have something cool to take home. Something that isn’t too difficult to make and won’t cost a lot in supplies.

Also, I would like to have 2 volunteers to attend our celebration and help with crafts, games, and card-making. Please email me if you are interested!

HOLIDAY CELEBRATION 2015

Next Wednesday, December 16, our third grade class will have our Holiday Celebration. The boys and girls offered LOTS of great ideas for how to celebrate. Here is what we have decided to do:

  • Cat Caroling
  • Make cards for a young girl who has recently suffered a great loss
  • Play a Holiday-themed game
  • Make a Holiday-themed craft
  • Treat

I would greatly appreciate your suggestions for a holiday-themed craft. Cody suggested a reindeer puppet made from a paper bag. I saw something on Teachers Pay Teachers that was an Ugly Christmas Sweater ornament. Other ideas are welcome! We will vote on our craft tomorrow.

If you would like to donate a treat, beverage, plates, or napkins please let me know.

ALSO of note, our class will go to the Holiday Shoppe next Wednesday at 11AM. Envelopes with the list of items available will go home tomorrow.
