SAVE THE DATE!

Last year’s annual Library Day was a huge success! I hope you will join me for this year’s big event.

All families are invited to join me at the Henry Ford Centennial Library on Saturday, March 19. I’ll be there from 11:00AM-12:00PM. Students and their family members can renew or obtain library cards and check out good-fit books.

Families will need to stay together during this weekend field trip. Please do not plan to drop your child off and return at noon.

After the library we can go to a local restaurant and have lunch. Last year we had lunch at Senate Coney Island on Greenfield. There are lots of options for dining in Dearborn.

Please email me if you are interested in joining me for Library Day. This is a very special tradition that I look forward to each and every year. I understand that weekends can be very busy for families.

Literacy Night

Just a reminder…

Tomorrow, March 1, is Literacy Night. The school-wide event will begin with the third grade concert. I will be there for your performance, as will Mrs. Philpott, Mrs. Borrello, and Mrs. Dmitruchina.

Mrs. Kalasz has asked that all performers arrive by 5:55 so that you can take your spot on stage.

If you are unable to attend, then you will need to let Mrs. Kalasz know. You can send a note to school or leave a voicemail message for her.

I’ve heard the girls and boys perform their songs, and they sound great! I’m really looking forward to tomorrow’s performance!!!!

Concert attire is similar to picture day… Remember to dress nicely.
