Happy Birthday Sofie! Thank you for the beautiful bouquet!
Notes: When you’re finished with the Precept assignment, please store it in your Leadership Binder.
The Reflection from Friday is an assignment that our guest teacher felt was necessary. She reported that students were disrespectful and needed to write about what had happened before Art. After reading what students had originally written, I determined that more information was needed. Please use the following questions to expand on your writing:
“What happened that upset our guest teacher?” “Why did she feel disrespected?” “What could I (we) have done instead?” “What do we still need to work on when there is a guest teacher?” “What will I (we) do differently next time?”
Tomorrow we will share your finished reflections in class, in our circle. Please be prepared to share your writing.
Also, donations for Jump Rope for Heart are due on Wednesday.
Ready for Tomorrow?
I’m excited to return to school tomorrow! I’m not 100% recovered just yet, but I know you’ll be patient with me!
MATH: We will continue to explore Multiplication this week. I think we should also take a look back at our Math Masters WIG to see how far we’ve come. Also, we’ve got three assignments to check.
SCIENCE: Our new unit, Life Science, begins this week. Our focus will be on… PLANTS! I’ve got two new ones to bring to school with me!
SS: We will continue to study Michigan’s government. I’m going to be looking for two assignments in your SS notebook.
READING: Our analysis of realistic fiction continues this week. I hope you enjoyed the Patricia Polacco books I left for the sub to read. I’ll collect the Analyze a Character assignment tomorrow.
WRITING: Tomorrow we will use the Chromebooks to start drafting your opinion writing.
