Field Trip and the iChats…

If you indicate that you are interested in being a chaperone for our field trip, then I will send your name to the office and they will check for a valid iChat.

I will contact you after I hear back from them and let you know how to proceed.

Thank you for understanding.

Fidget Spinners & Cubes

Dear Families,
Many of our students are bringing fidget spinners and cubes to school. Unfortunately, they are becoming disruptive in the classroom. Please have your child leave these items at home unless approved/requested by a teacher.
If fidget spinners or cubes cause disruption, they will be taken and kept in the office until the end of the day when they will be returned to a parent/guardian. If this consequence does not work and disruptions continue, other consequences will occur.

Thank you for helping support the educational process here at Whitmore-Bolles.

If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.

PRESENTING… My Good-fit Book!

On Friday, students should have brought home a list of possible GFB project presentation ideas. During the month of May, students will have an opportunity to share their projects with the class. They can choose either a fiction or nonfiction text (but please make sure that the text type fits the project idea).

After sharing her/his project with the class, our audience members will have the chance to ask text-appropriate questions. The speaker should answer the questions in complete sentences. Our May calendar includes the names of the students who will be sharing for each day.

If possible, bring your GFB along with your project when it is your day to share.
