National Reading Month begins tomorrow, March 1. I will be sending a calendar of activities to be completed at home.

If you’re interested in being a Guest Reader, please email me or send a note with your child. Read Alouds will be scheduled for 8:45 AM and 2:50 PM. Please limit your read aloud to 20 min. or less.

Finally, it has become a tradition for my husband and I to meet students and their families at The Henry Ford Centennial Library on a Saturday in March. This is an opportunity to first check out good-fit books, then socialize at a local restaurant. In years past we’ve gone to Senate Coney Island and Noah’s Deli. Please keep an eye out for more information about Library Day!

Remember to mention that you’re there for the Whitmore-Bolles fundraiser. Great seeing June and family at Yogurtopia!!!

Remember to bring  your blue file folder back to school tomorrow. Take the artifacts out and keep those at home.

I hope everyone has been enjoying this beautiful weather! It certainly feels more like spring break than midwinter!
